Sieza Peridect+ protects DHL assets

DHL is the world’s largest logistics company with more than 1.5 billion packages delivered annually. In one of the logistics centers in Germany, their packages were regularly lost and damage caused hundreds of thousands of euros per year. The managers of this logistics center decided to replace the existing camera system and in the same time to use fence detection system to protect the perimeter.

One of the reasons why Peridect+ was choosen was the possibility of direct integration with the new camera system using Onvif-S. All attempts to overcome the fence during tests were detected.

The false alarm rate is lower than one false alarm per month across the entire perimeter, which, in the words of security managers, is incredibly great. Since the system was installed, losses due to stolen goods have dramatically decreased.
