NCC is one of the leading construction companies in the Nordics. NCC builds schools, hospitals, roads, bridges, houses, offices and a lot more. In one of the storage facilities, fuel, work tools and even work machines were regularly stolen. Protection using only cameras was insufficient, so the customer decided on a combination of fence detection and CCTV. The main requirement was integration with the existing CCTV system from Partizan.

For 25 years, they have been a global leader in IT product reuse. They had a high number of break-ins in their warehouse and therefore needed a solution to get early warning when intruders try to enter the premises. The two main requirements were integration with the existing CCTV and burglar alarm systems and redundancy support.

P. Christensen is one of the country’s oldest, largest and most innovative car dealers. The group has branches throughout the country and represents some of the most recognized car brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Peugeot, Citroën and Honda. PERIDECT+ protects one of the showrooms in Odensee. One of the key requirements was to reduce the number of thefts of automotive components such as precious metals from catalysts. The previous system based on thermal cameras and an electric fence was not reliable and had a large number of nuisance alarms. Other requirements were redundancy and integration with the existing camera system.

The 440 kV and 225 kV HV substations Henri-Paul are located in the village of Écuisses. The whole area is fenced and protected by Peridect. Invisible detection was one of the mandatory requirements of RTE, the operator of this substation. Great emphasis was put on elimination of nuisance alarms in conditions of close high-voltage transmission lines and high-speed TGV trains running close to the fence. Another requirement was integration with a camera system.

PERIDECT+ protects two data centres in Hungary. It is a perimeter protection of strategic importance. Sieza was asked to replace a dysfunctional competitive system that showed a huge amount of false alarms. During the technical inspection of the installation site we found that the fence consists of massive steel plates, which are often whipped by gusts of wind. It primarily caused all false alarms.

PERIDECT+ protects several fuel depots in Poland. It is a perimeter protection of strategic importance. The redundancy of the whole system was a mandatory requierment in this project. Sieza was the only manufacturer that met the specification. Ring connection with one control unit and two line controllers (master/slave) is used for system back up in case of detection line interruption or a short circuit.

A military checkpoint is a permanent feature where access by civilian visitors and vehicles is controlled by a military authority. One of the US forces bases in the United Kingdom receives dozens of visits a day at its checkpoint, and all cars are checked for unauthorized transport of people inside or out. The system they used so far did not work as the checkpoint guards expected. Detection of each vehicle lasted longer than 5 minutes and was unreliable with frequent jet flights over the object.

There is a small furniture production line in one of the Polish prisons. Material deliveries arrive through the checkpoint, finished furniture is then transported through the same checkpoint out. Every day dozens of cars pass through. Because there is a real risk that the prisoners will try to escape stored in the finished piece of furniture, a proper check of passing cars is caried out.

ŠKODA AUTO is a Czech car manufacturer founded in 1895 and currently belongs to the Volkswagen Group. There are several production plants in the Czech Republic. The plant in Mladá Boleslav produces Fabia, Octavia, Rapid, Scala models. The requirement was to secure 8,4km of perimeter and to interconnect the fence detection system with the existing CCTV system.
