The OIL & GAS PARK in Nigeria is a strategic industrial complex that supports the production,
processing, and distribution of oil and natural gas. Its general purpose is to ensure the efficient use of energy resources, foster economic development, and attract investment to the region. This facility is considered critical infrastructure because it is directly linked to the country’s energy security, employment, and the stability of oil and gas supplies, which are also essential for international markets. Any disruption or attack could have serious economic and social consequences.
Ticking the Boxes
It is appropriate for the site to be protected by a perimeter intrusion detection fence system. Such a
system can detect unauthorized entry at an early stage, enhance the level of security, and reduce the risks of sabotage, theft, or terrorist attacks. The local surroundings are particularly busy, and not least, the Nigerian climate can be demanding for some PIDS. However, with Peridect+ and its IP67 protection, this was not an issue.
