Sieza Peridect protects photovoltaic power stations

Sieza – Success Stories: Solar parks in Germany

Solar park is a large-scale photovoltaic system designed for the supply of merchant power into the
electricity grid. A large number of these power plants were built in Germany between 2012 and 2013. Six of them are protected by Sieza Peridect (Finow, Werneuchen, Heinersdorf, Laudenbach, Lönnewitz, Bassow). Great emphasis in the selection procedure of the detection system was put on reliable detection, elimination of false alarms and simple and quick replacement of damaged parts.

Ticking the Boxes

  • Very low false alarm rate
  • Easy maintenance
  • Reliable detection
  • Integration with CCTV system

Thanks to a unique algorithm comparing information from neighboring detectors, Peridect system
reduces false alarms caused by environmental conditions. Simple construction with no moving
components makes Peridect very reliable in extreme climatic conditions. Thanks to its easy integration, Peridect is hooked up to a PSIM SW that helps the operator to detect intruders directly on the boundary of the protected area.
